I Changed the World Today! The 365give Challenge 1st Week in Review

The 365give Challenge launched in two public schools in West Vancouver this past week. We couldn’t wait to see how the students would chose to give every day, what their impact on the world would be and what they learned along the way. The results were astounding. Sarah Fee, teacher of grade 6 students at Ecole Pauline Johnson was the … READ MORE

Day 354: Family Give Day: The Sister Give

365give declares Sister giving day today

I think we have all heard the saying ‘Charity begins at home‘ and this week this could not be more true!  My sister has started this movement, 365give.ca where she writes everyday, gives everyday to people she knows, people she does not know, the planet, international organizations and tons of other causes and projects. Day 287: Everyone Needs a Give

365give thinks that spontaneous giving is some of the best gives.

People who you can give to are not necessarily obvious to you.  It is easy to identify a homeless person on the street and know they are in need. A child crying from hunger is a no brainer. But some people who could benefit from your give of the day are not that easy to spot sometimes and we have … READ MORE

Day 274: A Simple Give from a 3 year old Kid

Giving can come naturally as long as we teach our kids give at any age.

Nicolas and GranJan

I have been asked many times if my son is learning anything about giving as I “give” back to the world every day. The answer is simple – absolutely! We were reading a book two days ago that was talking about the planet and ways we could help protect it. I asked him to tell me some … READ MORE
